For best results, once the package is opened, store the entire package in a zip-top bag to keep them fresh.
We receive these mounts from Germany sealed in plastic. When they arrive, we package them inside another plastic sleeve to keep them fresh. To keep them from curling or sticking together, keep them in their original package, inside a zip-top bag. This will prevent your mounts from drying out or curling due to humidity changes present in your home due to cooking, showering, or seasonal differences in humidity.
If you have purchased hinges elsewhere and have had issues with them curling up – it’s not a quality or production issue, but instead the result of how they were stored. By keeping them in a sealed bag you can prevent this. We take these extra steps and package them in plastic so that you are guaranteed to receive only first-quality product that has been handled properly.
